This question was asked from Canada, and yet you talk of GCSEs. I didn't know that they had GCSEs in Canada! If you're really from the UK, you'd have to get into the MT course at a top drama school after your A Levels. And to do that, you'd have to be seriously talented at all three disciplines and have high grades from good stage schools. You'd also need to have taken a lot of leading roles in local productions of plays and musicals. If you can get all that done by the time you're 18, yes, you'd stand a chance. But you'd need to have another career to work alongside acting, as almost all professional actors do. Maybe journalism could work, if you can be sure of selling a lot of articles and reports to magazines and newspapers on a regular basis. But that would be very hard to predict.
