It's not compulsory - especially not for 15 year olds. If you don't like it, don't drink it. You may acquire a taste for it later in life - then wish you hadn't.

You shouldn't know what it tastes like at your age anyway. As it happens, I'm 32 years older than you and I don't like the taste either.

I was getting drunk at that age. Beer was not my favorite at the time, but it was the result of only drinking soda, water, and juice for most of my life. Now I love beer. Not those gross light beers, but the craft brews with tons of flavor.

Well, you don't like alcohol is a good habit. But if you don drink it then you should leave this alcohol or it will be your habit and you won't be able to leave it, sooner or later it will grasp you. Good luck!

Children under the age of 18 don't like strong drinks.... that's why you have cola and us adults have alcohol. We are grown ups and we can handle this sort of thing. When you get older, you might learn to appreciate a good alcohol. For now, stick to sugary drinks, kid.
Answer #9 | 31/12 2013 07:01
Alcohol has no taste to speak of. What you don't yet like is the taste of the few alcoholic drinks you have tried. I don't understand what you mean when you write, "...when nearly everything my gets drunk all the time...." What point are you trying to make and what question are you trying to ask?
Answer #10 | 31/12 2013 06:58
Good for you!!!! Enjoying the taste of alcohol is acquired over time. I still don't like most of it. I don't drink much, only socially. I used to hold a club soda with a lime so people would think I was drinking.
Answer #11 | 31/12 2013 06:31
There is no law that says you have to like or even drink alcohol. Lots of people don't like the taste of coffee or tea, or even fruit juice. Its your taste buds, and you will find as you get older your eating and drinking habbits (taste) changes. Drink what "YOU LIKE".... not what you think you people expect of you. c.

Nothing wrong with you, people like different stuff. I'm 18 and I still find Beer repulsive. I mainly drink Cider when out with friends instead, Pear Cider is my favourite. And I don't think anyone truly likes the taste of Some spirits alone, that's why mixers are usually v sweet
