Someone might force you to learn how to spell. Plus you'll be legally responsible for the decision you made. You said it yourself, you let this person drive. That means you accepted responsibility for anything that might happen while they were driving. Something happened, so now you have to take responsibility.

He will be charged with driving without insurance, and the car will be seized. You may also be charged, your insurance will be cancelled, and it will cost you a small fortune to get another insurance policy. You may not get the car back.

The police are hammering people like this just now, take away delivery drivers and the likes, both you and your driver will get the book thrown at you, did you stop to think what would have happened if he hit someone no I think not you were more interested in saving a few pounds than keeping your vehicle legal.
