If you can afford $25 a month ( or another $12 for support files too. Well worth it) then go to Lynda.com and study their curricula for Logic. You can pay month to month if you need to and just do it when you can afford it. If you cannot afford it find some good tutorials online. But Lynda will cut through the guff and teach you right in your home. Ignore picking it up from friends etc unless you know someone really accomplished at it. And if they are accomplished chances are they will be way to busy to teach you. Lynda will bring progress and skills to you faster than anything I know. I do it for Adobe apps. it goes way beyond anything I did in college courses for the same application programs. I highly recommend it.

"i just bought logic pro x, now what?" Well, you would then start using it to create music in your recording studio... uh, you DO have a recording studio, eh? Try the links below. EDIT : "no i don't have a studio." OK, so you bought music creation / editing software for 200 bucks. Does that mean you want to create or edit music? Then you are ready to learn how. Read the details from Apple and watch tutorials. This is like buying a small jet and then wondering how to read all the instruments. :~) <0-0>
