I understand. I get this. I am in my 30's and have a younger sister and have had issues similar to yours. You can't change her but you can yourself. Try to find activities to get involved with. Make new friends. Volunteer. There is a lot you can do for you. You have a lot to look forward to. College, jobs, friends, and a family of your own. Hang in there. Also, talking to others can be helpful. Just find trusting individuals.

Well if you're looking for opinions here's mine. You can go about this two ways. 1 Ignore her completely and go on with your life. 2 Make amends and get closer again. For the first one, it's quite self explanatory. Stay away from her. Ignore her actions. Find a hobby so you can ignore her. But for the second, She's at an age where kids get influenced a lot by the things around them. You should know better than anyone because you're only a year older. With time, carefully, you need to make her realize her mistakes because that's what older siblings are for. Don't abandon her OR yourself. If you're a softy then it will be harder for you. Imposing restrictions won't help nor will scolding. Get through to her. Speak in her language. The best solution for this is to keep her away from TV or any other electronic media for as long as you can. Keep her close to REALITY meaning friends, family, neighbors and even a pet will do! Find common interests if any and through that get to know her.. Best Of luck Keep it together and listen to this song. Shattered by trading yesterday. It helps me reflect on my life.
