I think it's like this: 'my and wife's house' or you could just say: 'our house'
Answer #2 | 30/12 2013 01:34
Mine and my wife's house or My wife and I's house
Answer #3 | 30/12 2013 01:33
Our house is the best way to phrase it
Answer #4 | 30/12 2013 01:44
Tall Jake is the best gramaticaly; however, as you stated that you did not want to simply use "our house" the best phrase would be the first line of Holly's answer. Mine and my wife's house is the second best option. My wife and I's house is completely wrong.
Answer #5 | 30/12 2013 01:51
It is always polite to put the name of the other person first ('You and I', not 'I and you'). It should be 'My wife's house and mine". Though that sounds like there could be two houses. SO... 'My wife's house and mine IS down the street'' If you share a house.(hopefully) Or... 'My wife's house and mine ARE down the street'' Should you happen to have two houses. My wife's house and mine is blue.
Answer #6 | 30/12 2013 06:11
"Our house." If the person being told this is curious he can always ask, "with whom do you share your house?"
Answer #7 | 30/12 2013 02:07
How about, "The house that my wife and I own is blue" Don't know if that is correct but it sounds ok.
Answer #8 | 30/12 2013 02:01
