Without knowing if you mean a Rally Car, a road race car or an oval track car it would be difficult to answer because it all has to do with weight, weight transfer and geometry of the suspension., where the center of gravity is and how low of a draft the car is to the ground. Air Dams and Spoilers. There is more to a track car than just a standard street type of vehicle. The Library would be a good source to do some research or hanging around in the pits at some small race places to get information. The other way is to actually hook up with some one who races cars. Unfortunately I gave up racing cars a few years ago. If you are going to run on a track you need to know everything about that track and the surface (grades, angles, banks and where bad spots are to stay away from) that the car will run on.
