Same problem I'm too facing. Well what I do is drink lots of water these days. Believe it or not but drinking water helps you keep you more awake really. To wake up early I've kept such an alarm tone that even the nocturnal animals will also get scared :D So try keeping some scary alarm tone and keep your phone(if you put your alarm in it) at a distant because to off it you need to leave your bed and off it.Don't snooze it, you are moving out your way of getting less sleep and more important is motivation. If you have it then truly speaking after few days you will get habituated to it. :):):)

By being a bahu;) same probs with harry pottress also..I mean Mehar..she used to sleep till 9 am but not these a bahu she wakes up at midnight 6 am n tries to wake me too but ehh no magic works on early morning is still the same 10-10.30 am;p

Hibernating is natural. If you want to be more alert turn more lights on. And try to use full spectrum light bulbs.

Try to make sure you go to bed early and then you wake up early next morning...Atleast an hour or two sleep in the afternoon is necessary and keeps you fresh in the evening when you are ready to study again..Difficult to control sleep in winter time but there is no other option :).

Keep jug of cold water near to your bed. whenever you feel sleepy, wash your face. Read while walking here to there. Avoid listening sad song and song that are melodious. Keep the window in front of your head always open. Don;t read while laying on the bed. Don't switch on the tv when you are reading. Don't do meditation unless you want to sleep. it takes you to Yog Nidra. Don't use bitter things in your diet. After every half an hour sit folding your legs to back side( Bajraasan) andin this position sit for 5 minuts. continue your study. After one hour sit in bajraasan for two minutes closing yoiur eyes and feeling you are not slweeping nor you want to sleep. After every two hour Take cup of coffee of won'tsuits yoiu then take tea. If some one prepare irfor youitsgoodif not prepare yorself and keepin Thurmous

How to stop being such a heavy sleeper? Do what the Apache Indians did on the eve of battle. They'd drink lots of water the night before a battle. That way they would wake up before tha dawn and feel "strongly compelled" to get out of their beds and on with their day (beginning with a long number one).

Do one thing. If you are a heavy sleeper then quit tea and have coffee. This will take of your sleep. Be more engaged in your work and do a lot of exercise. You will see you are not a heavy sleeper now

jst dnt take too heavy meals...and engage yourself in some or the other tasks, sitting idle invites drowsiness. and by doing things,your body will develop warmth too...:)
