I haven't tried but you could right click the .exe that loads the file. Not th eshortcut. Go to properties and try compatibility mode and select XP. Or a guaranteed way to make it work if you have the patience is to install a virtual machine. Free from https://www.virtualbox.org/ Put simply this lets you run a fake computer inside your computer and install any operating system you like to this fake computer if you have a disk. You can then install AutoCAD 2004 and run it as normal. I would not recommend you try this if you have 8Gb Ram or less as the virtual machine should be allocated 4Gb to run AutoCAD smoothly.
