Put some grease in your left palm. Hold the bearing with your right hand and press the bearing on the grease on your left palm. Turn the bearing as you press making sure all the grease goes inside the bearing. Repeat for the other side of the bearing.

Its actually really easy: put a handful of grease onto the palm of your hand, then take the bearing and and mash the edge of the pile of grease in your hand into the seam or gap on the bottom (if its a tapered roller bearing, if not then use either end) of the bearing. Make sure for every time the bearing touches your hand, you turn it so you evenly distribute the grease. Repeat this process until the grease starts to ooze out from inside the bearing. Thats the old fashioned hand method They do make bearing packer hand tools too. :P
