Hi Ann, Many people won't tell you this, but I'm a doctor and I believe honesty is best when it comes to matters like this. The truth is though, our genetic make up largely determines what we look like an our body types. For example, I run miles everyday and am in great shape and eat a healthy diet, but I'll never have a 6 pack of abs, as it's just not my body type. People like to believe that they can change themslevs in any way they want, but it is quite difficult if not impossible. Shakira was always thin as a rail, and if you're 140lbs and 64" at 14, that's just not you, that's ok though. What I am going to say though, is that this shouldn't matter. You should still strive to be the best version of yourself that you can be, because I'm sure you have plenty of wonderful physical and personality traits. Eat a healthy diet of lean meats, nuts, and vegetables and cut out the white rice, pasta, fruit juice, etc. Do 30-60 minutes of vigorous cardiovascular workout everyday, no excuses. Not only will it improve your look, but your mood and concentration will improve immensely too, and so will your self-esteem. If you can keep this up for months or even years, you will be in amazing shape in no time, and ecstatic with who you are, laughing at the though of wanting to look like someone else at 14 y/o. ok hm cut the soda and chips ok- ok eat five times a day and eat every three hours. three of them should be healthy meals of about 4 to 500 caloriea and the other two should be healthy snacks of about 200 calories . and excersice well to tone your body.and well help loose weights.and burn fat quicker since your boosting your metabolism by eating healthy. good luck
