It's simple it has been proven by scientists that eating slowly and eating smaller bites tricks your brain into slowing down the digestive process allowing food to stay in your stomach for longer periods of time.

You need to eat more fiber, by which I mean whole, fresh fruit AND vegetables. Go have an apple.

Perhaps it was the plethora of junk you ate. I was hungry this evening. I had three small baked potatoes (usually I have two, but they were the last three in the bag and I wanted to finish them before starting the new bag). I had vegan lasagna (whole wheat noodles, Daiya shredded cheese, Morningstar Farms crumbles and marinara sauce) and two slices of whole wheat bread. I am no longer hungry. However, later, before bed, I'll probably have a banana and a Whole Foods cereal bar.
