To do a nice job on wrapping a cube, you may need a little extra tape. Lay the cube in the center of the paper and measure the paper so it goes all the way around the cube and overlaps about an inch. It should also come a little more than halfway up the sides, too. Cut the paper. Shift the cube so it's about an inch in from one end lengthwise, and is centered on the width of the paper. Wrap the paper around the cube and align it so the end comes right at a corner. Put a small piece of tape in the center to hold it. Then, Run a long piece of tape (or three shorter ones, overlapping) all along the edge to cover the join. Fold the paper in from the bottom of the cube on one end, and crease the folds so they lay flat. Tuck the sides in and crease the folds. Fold the top piece down and crease that, too. Use a piece of tape to hold it in place. Repeat on the other side, too. Find the least pretty side, and put a really big bow on it. V oila! One pretty present, ready to give.

Gift wrapping a cube is the same way as gift wrapping a rectangular shaped box/present. You figure out how much paper you need, tape the sides to the object, fold the ends in and tape those to the paper. But if you want to make it a bit fancier, you place the box in the middle of your cut out paper (once you figured out how much you need) and bring the sides up to the top. Bunch the paper together without ripping the paper and tie it off with ribbon (you can use tape to keep the paper together).
