They do not have monthly rates. Each month they read a meter to see how much you used then multiply it out

Multiply the kwh by 30 (average number of days in a month) and then by 24 (hours a day). Ex.....8.49 X 24 X 30= The 8.49 is NOT $8.49 but .0849.

You multiply the $8.49 rate by the kwh that are used. You will need to estimate the hours used per month. Every household is different. It greatly depends on how many people live in the house. How much cooking is done, how many showers are taken, plus all the other electronics and electric power using items that are plugged in. Heating and air conditioning must also be considered.
