Get an apprenticeship with a licensed cabinet maker.It involves doing a course at an approved college which you attend usually one day per wek & it can last for up to three years after which time you will be a licensed cabinet maker yourself.

I have found a ton of great video tutorials on Youtube pertaining to building cabinets. I would use the internet as a resource to learn more. Then I would keep building cabinets. Practice makes perfect. Build cabinets for free or low cost to friends and family. You can start with cabinets for garages and utility/laundry rooms. Then work your way up to kitchen cabinets. They are built similarly but people want higher quality cabinets in their kitchen.

Hi there, The best way I know will be to take a job ( even part time ) at a cabinet shop. In this case on the job training works best. Hope this helps, Al
