i don't think you can legally work until you're 16, but there was side jobs that people might hire you such as baby sit, or mowning the lawn, chores that parents dont' mind paying you

That guy from Subway might hire you. I hear he likes them young and Subway was paying him good money to be a pervert. Honestly? None worth the headache. The government limits your hours so it's hard to make enough money for anything today. Well, maybe gas money, but... It would probably take a month to get a cheap iPad today. That's IF they will work you at the full amount. Plus, you did need a permit. That will probably cost you $100 or so today. It was free, but then that was before they started charging and DHS got involved.
