Write about all the terrible things that could happen and then for the chorus, write "It was all a dream" I fell into a dark well, my leg was broken, my eye was blind with no escape, not even water! I thought that I would lose my mind But it was all a dream I woke the sun was shining the day was filled with hope my life beyond surviving. The hole was dank and far from crowds, I needed a pee My loved ones I had treated unkind, they didn't look for me But it was all a dream I woke the sun was shining the day was filled with hope my life beyond surviving. Every hour or two, I lose consciousness again, just for a bit and dream that I'm alright, instead of in this stupid pit. But it was all a dream I woke the sun was shining the day was filled with hope my life beyond surviving.

Being an ego and feeling separate from others naturally makes everyone sad. It's the innate state of being who "you" are. It's why Taylor Swift can't help but write about her woes of romance. The only happy rock and roll and pop songs I've heard is how someone is excited and happy with their love or being in love.
