Open an elevated command prompt.  To so this, read At the prompt, type     CHKDSK C: /F and press Enter.  If you're prompted for a disk check during the next restart, type Y and press Enter.  Then type     CHKDSK D: /F and press Enter.  Respond as before if prompted. If either command resulted in a scheduled disk check prompt, restart the computer at your convenience. After any drive errors have been resolved, you should then use System Restore to revert to a date prior to the failed update process.

First you shouldn't not have play with your D drive too much which would of damage it making it all beat. You might need to stick the D drive out and then stick it in

chkdsk d: from command line. If it doesn't solve the problem, u have to format D drive. Try to recover important data before formatting using any recovery software if possible or use HDAT2 in dos mode. If that too doesnt help, live boot from Ubuntu, use GPatred to format D drive(Forget the data, anyway try to read from Linux too). If all this fails, you might want to replace HDD
