murphy's oil soap http://www.colgate.com/murphy-oil-soap?cid=ppc_msn_b_stan_brand_exact&kw=murphy+oil+soap#/home/ touch-up chips (often found on legs) with dark pine tar. EDIT: vinegar is an acid, removes natural pigments, and provokes mold growth. vinegar is not good.

Recently i have not heard of the vinegar/oil combination. I use oil & add a few drop of lemon essential oil to the mix. It smells astoundingly fresh & the lemon oil is meant to deter spiders. I am not definite how effective it is in that regard but possibly I do not use it often . Thanking You. www.ifn-modern.com/
