I've heard good things about OpenStack. It's open source, so that means it has a lot of people's eyes on the source code which makes inserting malicious code extremely difficult to impossible. http://www.openstack.org/ It's only offered through 3rd party vendors however, so you'll need to look at each of them and decide which is best for you.

Synology has a line of NAS devices. I have a small one for the home network, but they make big ones for the office. They do everything you are asking about, check their manuals on how to set it up. I like the low power and low noise their machines have, plus they have options for RAID redundancy. I think you have to purchase the hard drives separately, their machine has the operating system, file system and backup system apps etc. It has been very reliable for me.
