Seems a bit extreme forcing you to sleep in urine soaked sheets. I'm not aware this works as a treatment for bedwetting. I don't know = the ammonia from the urine might irritate the skin. Acne is usually caused by over greasy skin but I suppose it would get infected = so probably. M

Hi David many paraplegics have lived with this when they are first disabled in hospital it usually led to having a catheter fitted which is not pleasant as infection into the bladder is possible. they used what was a draw sheet a sheet with a plastic sheet underneath. so the draw sheet could be changed sometimes two and three times a night and washed the next day. some hospitals used a stock of these as a regular thing for incontinence for older patients. urine is a mild acid so yes it could cause problems if you had to lie in it.hence why nursing staff used to change a bed two or three times a night.
