Obviously smoking a pack a day is worse than smoking 3 cigarettes a month. And smoking 3 cigarettes a month is worse than smoking no cigarettes at all. But bad is bad. And it all depends on the person and their immune system. Everyone has cancer cells at some point in their life, but few people know you're immune system actually kills these cells. The stronger your immune system, the less chance you have of developing aggressive cancer. So long as you don't have other bad habits, like eating sugary or fatty foods or drinking alcohol, then 2-3 cigarettes a month is no worse than than doing any of those other things. But ... it's still a gamble.
