I don't want to disappoint you, but your not going to get a 2008 or newer Honda CRF230F for $1000 ! My son sold his 2007 Honda 230F recently for $1800. Follow the prices on Craigslist to understand what people are asking. By the way, the Honda 230F is rock solid reliable, an awesome bike in Hare Scrambles, and has a excellent resale value! When my son was ready to sell, three people we new wanted to buy it before we even posted on Craigslist !
