when i first became vegetarian i turned to eating bread, rice, pasta and basically a lot of carbs and it sounds like you are doing the same... it isnt exactly a good ill tell you that... there just isnt much it will help you with and if you keep it up youll just start to gain lots of weight. maybe try having eggs in the morning. you should be having around 35-45 grams of protien a day. try eating more nuts but also stay away from the ones high in fat. beans are also one of the main foods in a vegetarian diet. i hope this helps a little bit and good luck! (:

I'm always amazed at how everyone is so concerned about protein intake. When was the last time you heard os someone being protein deficient? Are meat eaters ever concerned about where they get their Vitamin A, C, D, E, Zinc, etc. etc? Well, they should be! More so than vegetarians/vegans need to worry about protein. Fruits and veggies as well as nuts and grains contain protein. If you want to make sure you're getting all the vitamins and nutrients you need, eat a rainbow of colors going heavy on leafy greens.
