Link between worlds is amazing

I think you should get a "Link between Worlds" firstly because you get to move between dimensions like in FEZ(if you know what that is) and secondly because it's a new adventure in Hyrule. It's really your choice but you could just get them over time or save up enough to get them all at once.

You know what? It really doesn't matter because we can't choose for you. It really is up to you. You see, when I tell you, it doesn't really tell that much. You must see the games yourself. Look online on walkthroughs, reviews, and more. It really depends on what type of gamer you are. You may like strategy, action, adventure, puzzle; it really depends on what you like. You don't have to ask recommendations all the time. Decide for yourself. That's my own philosophy. Hope you come up with the right decision.

I would not recommend new super mario bros 2, since that's just a standard 2D sidescrolling mario game from what I hear, but if you have not played Link Between Worlds, you need to buy it right now. Got it for Christmas and was so enthralled by it I've already 100% complete the main story, and haven't even started Hero Mode. It captures the original Link to the Past in my nostalgia, and somehow makes me like the additions as well, making even more collectibles and time put into playing than the original. I don't know much about DK, and I've heard Mario 3D Land is great, but Link Between Worlds is my new favorite 3DS game, possibly even my new favorite zelda, though if not favorite definitely in the top 3.

Link between worlds is amazing in my opinion. So is New Super Mario Bros. 2. I haven't played Donkey Kong Returns though. I'd suggest that you go with Link Between Wolrds, since it has the most positive ratings. But it's really up to you. We can't make up your mind, but we can help.
