Hong Kong - no Singapore - no Australia - yes USA - no South Africa - no (unless you want to count apartheid as 'good') Japan - no China - no Taiwan - no What made those countries good was that their own people were smart enough to modernise out of necessity to compete with Europeans. Third world countries today are the ones who failed to act. In the case of the USA, many non-Europeans contributed to what America is today.

To one degree or another you would see one or two European Nations have affected many countries. In some cases there has been a lesser effect like China Chetak

Pretty much so. They had the age of exploration which closed the gaps between regions. Some quicker and more successfully than others.
