too true Celia but we would still own everything and would be having a much better time of it and us soft as we are would be going down there to help them if they did have trouble you know we would we used to care it's what made it the great country it was to live in. I will say nothing of now I am ashamed of it

Hmmmm.... Well - all those people whose properties were affected by those floods - 'knew' when 'they bought' those (Idyllic expensive desirable) properties the risk of inland river flood damage or coastal low land flooding damage - but 'they' bought them anyway. There were even 'some' who had no insurance against flood damage....how stupid is that in those areas ?.!!
