1. To the best of my knowledge, radio active iodine is the best option. 2. Just, to sleep separately for a week is not a big issue. 3. Usually, it is given to thyroidectomy patients. 4. However, prudent to contact such patients, over phone, who are benefited with the procedure. Happy Prosperous and Healthy New Year-2014.
