Have you heard from the addressee? It is possible that the barcode was marred or torn, thereby no status updates. If you haven't heard anything, contact the addressee. Without the receipt, your chances of a refund are slim, but if you are humble, you may get a manager of supervisor to work with you and try and pull up the record from their system.
