Don't worry, you don't have to fix nuffin. Go to the licence office, explain that you tried to apply the stickers to a wet or contaminated surface, now your sticker is ruined, and silly you. They'll give you a new one. They might charge you for the replacement (because silly you), but so what. It won't be much. Then, just do it like the instructions tell you: Make sure your number plate is clean and dry, and stick the little sticker on it. Voila, problem solved. Serriously, nail glue? Sorry, I'm still chuckling about that.

You probably have to take it to the DMV and get a new one. If you did that, you probably should not be driving anyhow.
