It absorbs some and reflects the rest, just like every object does. The only difference is that part of the sunlight a solar cell absorbs is turned into electricity. The remaining part it absorbed is turned into heat which gets emitted as infrared light. Just like all things do, like rocks, human bodies, trees, cars, or any physical thing. And we see things only by way of the light they reflect. When that light enters our eyes our brain becomes aware of it and we "see".
