No. Honey contains natural antibiotics and is the only foodstuff that doesn't go off. Clear honey goes solid and cloudy, but this is because it's cold, and this can be reversed by warming it up.

nope, honey does NOT expire. In fact, scientists have eaten honey they found sealed in an ancient tomb.

it is [perfectly safe to use. Another totally STUPID product to put a best before date on is cheese!!! Think about it: hard cheeses are aged longer. Old cheddar is aged longer than medium or mild. it is also more expensive than mild because it is aged longer. REAL cheese, not velveta and processed cheeses, I don't call those real at all, REAL cheeses aged longer are stronger in taste but they are no less good, safe or in some way harmful. You may not like a stronger taste. But that's OK, if you don't just step aside for those that do. best before date on cheese OR HONEY, absolutely ridiculous!!!

Real honey that is kept in a dark cabinet does not expire ... there are some honey products that probably do expire ... they are made out of corn syrup and honey mixture.
