Defenetly let your hair get colored by a hairdresser. Thats the best advice I can give you. Those people know what theyre doing, you never end up with a weird haircolor you didn't want or expect and they can give you the best advice on how to take care of your hair after this. Also, it does help to color your hair first and then get it trimmed.

If you are going to dye it go to the salon. Yes, it will still make your hair dry. I have done it. If your hair gets dry from it, there a lot of natural treatments so get your hair back to life and to add shine. I have done them all. They make your hair smooth and shiny. Overall, I recommend getting your hair done professionally:)
