Answer #4 | 19/12 2013 22:28
Yes. Primer really makes your eyeshadow stay in place. In fact, primer keeps all of your eye makeup in place with almost no smudging as long as you don't rub your eyes.
Answer #5 | 19/12 2013 22:38
It does. I never used to wear it before and since my eyelids tend to get oily, the eyeshadow would have these deep crease lines (not pretty). Eyeshadow primer makes your lids matte so the eyeshadow sticks better, stays on longer as well as making the colour more vibrant. =)
Answer #6 | 22/12 2013 15:54
Depending on the quality of the eyeshadow and the primer, yes. But the main thing is that it stops the eyeshadow from creasing and keeps it in place so it doesn't smudge/run. And if you're looking for a good eyeshadow primer I really like the NYX HD Eyeshadow base. It's really inexpensive but it works great and lasts a long time too.

An eye shadow primer is often a multipurpose product, the most important purpose being to give eye shadow staying power. Primers can come in different shades that blend with skin tone. White primer is often used to make eye shadow shades more vibrant.
