No, and neither do other cars with the same 2.4 liter engine. Just because YOUR car has a problem doesn't mean that ALL of them have the same problem.

HUH??? Never heard of that issue yet. Only heard of that on the 6.6L diesels on the first Gen engines. I work on GM cars & haven't heard of that issue. you sure it wasn't a small problem that you ignored for a while that ended up being a huge problem????? But to enlighten you, ALL gasoline burning automobiles regardless of GM, Ford , Toyota or whatever it is always has fuel in the oil. Its called Cold Start Up on the engine. That is why your suppose to change the oil at regular intervals to keep the oil from thinning out & getting sat with fuel. it you don't believe me, next oil change. Drain some in a thin plastic milk carton & watch it eat through the plastic in a few days. Its the fuel in the oil that does it

our 2012 terrain 4 cyl is burning oil and we noticed a gas odour when checking the oil stick. No one at the dealer ship seems to be concerned. We have never had a vehicle burn oil, except this one, as we change the oil and filter regularly.
