Depends on the age and how well I knew the parents. My oldest is 11 and I allow him to spend a night with his friend down the road..but I wouldnt allow the whole weekend...not because I see it as being bad but I want to spend time with him as well.

If they wish but we do limit it to one night only, no back to backs, it is too difficult to get them back on track. Of course there are exceptions, things like summer and school vacations where getting them back into the rutile isn't nearly as important. If either of my kids were like I was though, it may be a different story. When I was a teen a sleepover was just for getting into trouble.

That's trouble. No.

I only let my kids do that if I know the parents well and if they had known them for more than a year. And I let their friends stay the weekend sometimes. Not always, but on occasion.

each kid had some close friends and all the families knew each other. I think from the time the kids were 6 & 8 they either stayed the night or kids were at my house. the night is fine but as parents we agree the day gets long and usually ends in a fight when they have had too much of each other.... I would often just do a sleep over on Friday and be done with it the kids were delighted and it got the weekend off to a good start. yes no back to back and time for family and church... you have to have some limits know the kid and the family *(*
