Nope. I quite like Lead, although our water supply runs though Lead pipes and it sends people loopy.

I believe that the heavy metal artists and promoters kind of sold the notion that they were satanist. Made them seem more rebellious. Their fans wanted rebels. Pushing the idea they were satanists sold more records. In reality I doubt that many of these guys were actually satanists. Alice Cooper identifies himself as christian. Same goes for Dee Snider and Dave Mustaine. Don't try to figure out the religion of the artists based on their work. They were acting out a role to help sell more records. You have to look at the individuals themselves.

the only reason why people may think heavy metal is satanic is due to its subculture relating to death, dark moody themes, obscurity, pain, anger, loud imagery etc. the flaw of calling heavy metal satanic is the fact that the biblical interpretation of satan/Lucifer is actually depicted as a beautiful arch angel who was a former servant of god, and not the mainstream depiction of devil horns, black colors, death, somberness etc. .
