I have a hunch they don't. If they don't eat it, they don't touch it either. People are vegan for a bunch of reasons - often they think meat stinks and is horrible and it makes them heave up their guts..... so you can imagine them then COOKING it for somebody else. Probably ain't going to happen.

1. It's rude to ask. (Kind of like, "Hey, you're Muslim but I'm taking you to church.") 2. Even if they chose to, results might not be awesome, since they can't taste test while cooking to make sure it's coming out okay.

That would depend upon the individual, vegan or non-vegan. Some may cook meat, others will not. However, I agree that if a vegan cooks a non-vegan dish, the results may be suboptimal due to lack of experience with those ingredients or because they weren't tasted along the way. There are plenty of professional chefs working in standard fare restaurants that are vegan, or have Muslim or Hindu backgrounds that must still prepare meats and other non-vegan dishes of all kinds. While they might not taste them, such as to check for proper seasoning, they do still cook them.
