My husband cared more about our wedding details than I did. If it had been up to me, we would have eloped and been done with it. He's the one who pushed for a traditional wedding with friends and family. He's also the one that really pushed me to help get things done that I otherwise wouldn't have bothered with (seating charts, favors, other silly little things that most brides care about). We both had a blast that day, but I couldn't have pulled it off without him.

My wedding was not just about me, it was for the both of us. We got married outside and rode our bicycles to the ceremony site. The reception was a BBQ. My husband had a great time at our wedding and was looking forward to it as we were planning it together. It was not expensive at all and our parents were able to pay for the whole thing. Not all weddings have to be giant, expensive, impersonal events.

Weddings absolutely are not just for the bride. It takes two people to have a wedding and get married. My husband enjoyed our wedding as much as I did. We planned everything together.

My husband was. In fact he had more fun than me, (Well, probably because I was as sick as a dog: Sinus infection, ear infection, dizziness, wanted to puke) etc. And every year on our anniversary he brings out that tape, so we can relive our wedding.
