You have to pay the tax if it cross the tax liability because the donation recd. is nowhere mentioned as registered non profit or NGO . the revenue being recd wil be considered as income and if contributed by the individuals then it will become capital shared. presently it is proving income being recd. from the website so tax liability will fall.

If you are asking about Indian Taxes. The donations which you going to receive are subject to tax. It will be added to your income because the website is fully owned by you. Since you do not have any other income, you have to pay tax if your income including the donations you have received exceeds Two Lakh Rupees.

If donations are your only source of income (also if you're the sole beneficiary of those donations and also the website owner) then you have to pay tax if the total amount exceeds 2 lakhs a year.
