yup,,, liability only (no comp and collission) with the highest deductible and lowest coverage, if you are 18 with a financed camaro, there is no such thing as cheap insurance.

I feel mine is pretty good. It's SafeCo. $600 a year for full coverage on 2 cars.

Depends what you mean by cheap. It's all relative and a person with high risk details will always pay more than a low risk. Within the same risk profile, different insurers will quote different premium depending on how they calculate your risk, so it is always best for you to shop around as much as possible. If I could meet my 18 year old self now, he would think my insurance now (on a very nice car) is very cheap compared to what he was paying to insure an old heap of a car back then!

Sure they do! If you're 50 with a great driving record, perfect credit score, driving a paid for, modest car, you can easily get coverage in most cities for under $40 a month - minimum limits. If, however, you're a KID, well, that's just not a realistic price for someone under 21. "Cheap" is a relative term, also.

of course. they are easy to locate if a lender is not dictating coverage.

Yes, but only for drivers who are old enough to have one and live in a place where a person can have one. If you're too young or you live in a place without them, then you can't get one.
