London prices are no more expensive than other UK places for groceries. Many independent shops have stalls outside which sell a bowl of friut or vegetables for £1. The one near me had broccoli, avocado pears and mangos as well as the usual apples and oranges tonight. A big packet of porrdge is cheap in any supermarket. If you can afford to pay London rents, you really do not need to worry about buying non processed food in supermarkets. Enjoy your stay in London.
