Hi, I believe that wouldn't work; but what you could do is take the hard drive out of it's normal enclosure; and plug it in to a Network Attached Storage (NAS) enclosure. You'll then be able to add files and share it with every other connected device on the same network. NOTE: If you want to keep the stuff on that hard drive, then I recommend to backup first to your PC before transferring the hard drive to the NAS enclosure; as the NAS may want to re-format the drive.
