Anxiety is like electricity that shoots uncontrollably without an ending destination. Pulsating and constantly searching for that outlet. Never breaking or realizing there is an opportunity for calamity. It keeps nagging and hounding.

A metaphor would be.... Wringing paint out of a sponge and the paint is sticky --drying as you wring it out. You can alter that metaphor to suit.
