He also said "I am the way" and "the truth".

"the father and I are one". From the father (abba was the word, and abba means papa or daddy), comes all things. Without abba, I am nothing. This is as true for me as it was for Jesus. You have never entered the kingdom of heaven so you don't know what is being said.

Jesus was a religious zealot who was absolutely positive that the world was going to end any day.

"I am the resurrection and the LIFE He who believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And he that liveth and believeth in me, shall never die" Christ called Himself the LIVING Water also. Christ IS life. He is the creator of life and we will live eternally because of His life, death & resurrection.

The Greek meaning of life means both physical (now) and spiritual (future). I think Jesus was referring to life in the future spiritual sense. Someone said Jesus was a zealot. Judas was the only Zealot in the group. Jesus and most of his apostles were Essene Jews.

Life as God see it---Jesus as the Son of God is credited with the Creation--everything that was created was by his hands and voice--that includes life. When man sinned, he lost eternal life--Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost--when a person accept the offer of Jesus--he gives them everlasting life---so he is the truth, the way and the life---no man comes to the Father but through him.

Jesus is "Life" himself, as the Holy Scriptures tells us in Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Jesus Christ is the breath of life the very moment a child is born. And by his life in us, we become a living human being which make us move, feel, think, and speak.

If the bible is a divinely inspired and guided book why couldn't that omniscient and omnipotent being inspire and guide the writers to be unambiguous? A whole lot of strife would have been avoided and could be avoided by those who believe the book is more than a collection of myths.
