you could ask the hostess. they usually take care of the seating for another waiter

Personally, I would ask for the manager, then ask him or her to reseat us with another waiter. If I am asked for a reason, I would be candid about what we just experienced. Depending on the manager's response, I might then accept another seat or simply leave and go somewhere that appreciates my business. I would then file a note with the local Better Business Bureau and my favorite online restaurant reviewing service. Maybe the waiter was having a bad day, but maybe it is restaurant policy that needs feedback to change.

I would simply find the manager...explain that you would like another waiter, because this one has been rude to you PERIOD. That s it. That s all you have to do. GOD BLESS YOU.
