I believe that is something that happens for reals! There's a lot of young people who are taught that way. But, the good news are they don't stay like that their whole life. As soon as they realize about other people actions, they wake up and become the leaders..

It could certainly happen, though I think that it would depend on the natural personality tendencies of the child. A child who is more of a 'firebrand' would take that training and use it more as a way of being the defendent of the downtrodden. A child with a quieter personality might end up more as an easy target, depending on how the parent treated them. If the parent was very overbearing and pretty much took away all of the child's right to make decisions and their power, the child would likely turn out a "doormat", because they simply aren't used to making their own decicions and exerting their own opinions. If the parent simply trained them to be consistently kind, then the child would simply grow up to be gentle and kind.
