No. Never use neosporin or any ointment on a healing piercing. Even if you look on the box, it says "do not use on puncture wounds", which is exactly what a piercing is. Neosporin will just trap in dirt and bacteria and block out oxygen which your piercing needs to heal. Sea salt soaks are the only thing you should be using to clean your piercing. Take 1/4 tsp of non-iodized sea salt to 8 ounces of warm water. Put it in a small cup, flip it over on your navel forming a suction seal, and let it soak 5-10 minutes twice daily. Also do not use alcohol, peroxide, bactine, or harsh soaps as they are irritating and will prolong healing.
