In order to sue, you would have to prove the shop was negligent when they repaired your truck.

In theory, you could try to sue the mechanic. In reality, you're SOL. You should probably contact the mechanic, (nicely) explain your position, and see if he'll work with you. He might agree to install a new axle if you pay for the part. Heck, he might comp the whole job.

You state: "replaced both right and front axles". Sounds like the mechanic didn't touch your left axle, I am so confused. Either way - yes axles shouldn't break - however only you know how many times the vehicle went airborne....out of warranty is out of warranty. But I agree a broken axle is a rare thing on most vehicles that are NOT abused.

You must be abusing this truck. I have owned 2 Tundras for the last 12 years and have never had any axle problems. That's all I have to say about that.
