I used my university's campus counseling - it was really helpful. College counselors are trained specifically for young adult issues. At (most) US campuses, the counseling is free (up to 12 sessions) and confidential. Give it a try, it's your best option unless you tell your parents - you won't be required to go back if it doesn't help. Or if you just have a small issue (like stress or feeling blue - not like suicidal thinking) you could try emailing [email protected] - they are counselors based in the UK. You can internet search that email address to get more info about them.
